🇬🇧 UK POLICE DEPLOY HONEYPOT JOGGERS TO ARREST CATCALLERS
Female Surrey Police officers are posing as joggers in form-fitting outfits to lure catcallers, then arrest them.
The sting led to 18 arrests for harassment, sexual assault and theft.
Officers say the catcalls are constant, citing incidents within minutes of going undercover.
Officer Abby Hayward:
“It’s harassment and it needs to be recognized as such.”
Police claim the operation aims to stop potential repeat offenders and educate men that the behavior is unacceptable.
