I think dapps 6-12mo after @monad launch will be what makes or breaks the chain @keoneHD, @0x_Abdul , and a lot of other devoted people are under a lot of fire recently because coin is going down in price, and I don't think this is a good indicator for the product. There are quite a few good dapps that are built for Monad with exclusivity and UX in mind, which is what brings the parallel to Solana forward to me. Chain is fast for an EVM, devs for now seem to be doing well when it comes to building and testing in prod and I think the biggest tests are as follows: • first protocol to reach 1B+ in TVL • first protocol to stay there post-incentives (biggest one imo) • first protocol to do the DeFi Kingdoms/FriendTech effect (make people bridge, begrudingly, to another chain, en masse, to play around in a hot new fun environment) • first hack/exploit and how thats handled • first real life web2 100x integration - ergo, what is the normie magnet I am currently away from office but before I have explored a little bit, I decided to deposit onto @Neverland_Money and let the dice fall where it may, also a bit of Curvance and Euler but not nearly as much as I did into Neverland, mostly cuz UX seemed good and monad centric - I want to believe that airdrops will be juicy if these protocols hit it out of the park There's a lot riding on the first year of the protocol, and I hope the people behind Monad know how important it is to knock it out of the park right then and there
