Tbh I think a lot of ppl don’t understand why I loved Blast so much (and still want to give Pacman the benefit of the doubt) ico lore post incoming….. >be ico >shove 90% networth into crypto in 2017 >roundtrip 6 figure gains on ICOs >drawdown in the great crypto winter to a $4,320 bankroll from mid-low 6 >be sad >covid hits >crypto goes parabolic >remember you bought a TON of BNB for very cheap in late 2017 >it’s worth 6 figs when you remember >omg.jpg >proceed to watch it drawdown to $50k or so >eventually swap it back to ETH post-merge >get absolutely destroyed by terrible nft projects while that bubble deflates >down to 5eth onchain >cant farm blur bc poor >Blast gets announced >decide this is it - go all in with remaining funds >immediately get rugged by Blast Runners >actually sorta kinda get unrugged >realize there’s a knowledge arbitrage here - ppl want to farm but they’re either too lazy or technically incapable >content arc >pacmoon >multiplier >cambria >blastr >so many other apps where you could go extremely +EV by just smartly farming even with a small bankroll >actually made a modest amount of profit during Blast + airdrop >bankroll saved >hit it big with Virtuals a few months later because the Blast cushion gave me the confidence to take shots again In summary - Pacman created one of the best onchain playgrounds I’ve ever seen, and it allowed me to stay in the game and get to where I am today. Will be a fan of his forever.
