gabe is an extraordinarily rare 0-1, 10x cryptolawyer and is bringing startup fundraising / equity onchain with @MetaLeX_Labs. If you're an early stage founder considering a raise (SAFE, Reg D, etc.) you should seriously consider it for tokenized equity. Very cool stuff.

today we launched some nice QoL improvements on the MetaLeX fundraising app (): 1. Streamlined, Jurisdiction-Neutral Deal Templates all deal templates are now jurisdiction-neutral for the issuing entity! ...this means, for example, that U.S. companies and non-U.S. companies can use a single form of Reg D SAFE and a single form of Reg S SAFE... ...previously, there needed to be an american-company variation of a Reg D SAFE and a non-american company variation of a Reg D SAFE, etc. . . . . .that meant we needed at least four variations of each deal template. . .with this new approach, we only need two (one for Reg D compliance strategy, one for Reg S compliance strategy) this was achieved by switching from opinionated language like "shares of common stock" (which would be specific to U.S. corporations) to broader defined terms like "Common Capital Securities" that include "shares of common stock," "ordinary shares," etc., as well as adjusting relevant reps/warranties check to see the latest changes! 2. Multisig Delegation to EOAs for Signing many investors may be funds or other kinds of entities with internal controls and ops flows centered on a SAFE multisig--this made the agreement-parameterization and signing process challenging as multiple SAFE votes would be needed for different steps in the cyber fundraising process to solve this, MetaLeX now allows a multisig to delegate deal-configuration/signing authority to a particular EOA such an EOA typically would be owned by an officer/manager/COO/treasurer of a fund or other entity. . . the delegated EOA can configure investor-side deal parameters and sign the agreement in the MetaLeX app, and then the final funding step ('closing' the deal, as it were) is automatically handed back to the multisig to be signed/executed according to the multisig's usual signing threshold and tooling this feature comports with good internal controls/accounting/compliance practices and was one of our most-requested QoL improvements it will also pave the way to 'BORGifying' the investor/fund side within MetaLeX in addition to the 'founder/company' side! check to use the delegation feature!
