I’m going to make a list of bad advice I have received in crypto so other builders can hopefully save themselves some trouble. But I always recommend ignoring all my advice and learning it the hard way as maybe I’m wrong and this is how you really learn. But for those of you who don’t want to touch the electric fence to lean its electric… 1. POST A LOT. Won’t work unless it’s done by the community. The reason it doesn’t work is people will wait for you to post something “bullish” then dump into it, and wait for you to post again, and again, and mostly farm innocent souls. Now if 100 people are posting (organically or not) or a non team member, it’s fine. 2. SHIP NEW FEATURES! Same issue See above. 👆 Unless you do a “shock and awe” and ship so much so fast and it has to be really shocking and good. Then it works, but for most it won’t. 3. PAY DEX, Open a TG! If you unironically say “open a TG” you are outing yourself. it adds nothing new to your project unless it is part of the ethos of the project like in the case of HPOS10i TG chat. Kind of works for meme coins occasionally if the community is trying to pump the price or coordinate, but largely save yourself the headache and don’t do it. lots of coins ran to 100Mill + without a TG. 4. HIRE KOLs Won’t work. Unless you know them/work with them in some way, and they have real value add information. Don’t do it.
