There are over ten million young ppl from developing nations who have realised they can permissionlessly farm venture backed pre-product crypto companies for an expected value over what their own country offers for full time entry level jobs I would prob do the same thing in their position! They play the game - they copy and paste from websites and learn just enough to get by, but they play lazily... why put in more effort than necessary when you don't care about crypto and plan to leave the project upon redemption of any value I did the same at my first jobs lol And don't get me wrong - there are authentically motivated people mixed in, and the top 20% are talented and can go on to work in the industry or achieve meaningful things, but until teams + socialfi and infofi etc understand these dynamics and stop perpetuating the cycle by rewarding blindly, it will grow to the bad side, slopping up timelines and platforms I think we're nearing the end of this multi-year trend, especially as AI can currently REPLACE this labour entirely, so i'd urge these young people to LEARN SKILLS. They are EARLY to the trend of globally decentralised work (earning over global average) but LATE to earning for "yapping"
